Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Brandmotion FreedomCharge Max Wireless Charging Kit for smartphones. Now, this universal kit is going to let you add fast wireless charging to your car. So your phone's always gonna be topped up. It's Qi-certified, and it's going to work with the iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, and nearly any phone that supports wireless charging.
You're just going to drop your phone onto the pad, even with your everyday case on it, as long as it's not metal, and you'll never have to mess with cords in the car again. So the charging pad is going to trim to fit your space, whether that be the center console tray or cubby. So it's going to look and feel factory-installed. And then the power is going to be supplied by a direct 12-volt hard wire connection. So you'll need to connect it to your vehicle's wiring for this to completely work.
And you got, of course, a fuse protection here as well. So it comes with everything that you see here with this kit to get you up and running. You're also going to get this template to help you. So I think it's gonna be a pretty easy install. If you're wondering, the dimensions of the actual charging pad, looking at the length, were almost five inches long, so technically 4 15/16 inches long.
The overall width is going to be about 2 5/16 inches wide. And the thickness is 3/8 of an inch. The charging distance is from 1/8 of an inch to 5/16 of an inch. And this is going to give you up to 15 watts of reliable charging on the go. And as you can see here, you do have three charging coils that's going to help expand the charging area.
This gives you overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, and overheat protection. So it's gonna be a great pad to get this installed in your vehicle. If you get this and you get this installed and use it, we would love to hear back from you specifically of your experience of getting this installed and using it, so, you can share your experiences with us by dropping a comment or leaving a review on this product page.
