High Low Adapter Recommendation for Toyota Sienna Bike Rack
Updated 07/09/2018 | Published 07/05/2018 >
Question:
Hi, Im looking for a hitch high-low adapter to raise the effective height of the hitch on my 2013 Toyota Sienna. We have a Thule T2 Pro XT with the 2-bike add-on, and weve had some issues with scraping the road when going over bumps or in/out of driveways with the rack attached. Were currently using a 8inch straight hitch extender which is necessary due to the recessed position of the receiver below the bumper. Thanks!

Sounds like you'd want the Roadmaster High Low Adapter part # RM-076 which can give you a 6 inch rise. It also will work as a hitch extender like you have already too. I attached a picture that shows dimensions of this adapter for you to check out as well.
You should note that adapters like this (and the one you currently have) cut the capacity of the hitch they are installed in by 50 percent.
