I bought this on your recommendation. It lights the pilot but immediately goes out. Will not heat. Tried several times with the same result

This AT 932367 part is not an exact match. It appears you would also need to purchase an additional pin connector to make this work. Now your over $200 dollars in cost from what I see. Might as well buy a new hot water tank.
