Question:

I need an axel flip kit or axel perch for an axel that’s what looks to be 1 3/4 in diameter. Can you tell what kit I need? It’s for a 1999 Coleman Taos pop up camper.

I have exactly what you need, but it will have to come in the form of a couple parts pieced together because an over-under conversion kit or "axle flip kit" as some people call it isn't available for the smaller 1-3/4 inch round axles. To move your leaf springs above your axles, you will want the following parts:

Qty 2 - Spring Seats # TRSS175
Qty 1 - U-Bolt Kit # APUBR-10

The spring seats will be welded to the opposite side of the axle as the current spring seats. You may not need the u-bolt kit, but u-bolts are usually one of the first things to corrode and rust in the axle and suspension setup, so we usually recommend using new u-bolts each time. These parts are complete for 1 axle. Be sure the camber of your trailer axle is still pointing up toward the trailer once the axle is installed.
