Question:

I have a 1.75 diameter axel on an tent trailer, is there a conversion kit for that diameter axel?

I do have all of the components you will need to flip the axle on your tent trailer but there is not an all inclusive kit per se to do so. However, the kits are pretty basic as all they include are u-bolts, tie plates, and spring seats. For your 1-3/4" diameter axle, I recommend using the U-Bolt Kit part # APUBR-10 with the Spring Seat part # TRSS175 (2). The only difference between these two parts and a kit like the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit is that the spring seats will need to be welded to the axle tube as opposed to bolting. However, as they do not make a Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit for a 1-3/4" diameter axle tube this will be your only option. If you do not have access to a welder you can always take the axle tube to a local mechanic as they will have the means to do so and the cost would be very minimal.
