Question:

LC241846 HD Lead leg landing gear We have a 2011 Jayco Eagle 5th wheel RV. The lead leg of the landing gear stripped the collar nut out. Iam having trouble finding a replacement leg, the dealer wants to sell me a whole complete landing gear $550.00 The problem Iam having is I cant find the right lenght. They are all either 29 1/2 inches or 33 1/2 inches long. The one on my RV the outside tube is 36 5/8 inches long 2 1/2 inch sq tube . My question is what are the demsions of this replacement tube? your LC241846 . Also the inner tube with the collar nut, that is stripped, is 35 inches long and 2 1/4 sq is there any way I can just get the collar nut? This would fix my problem. Thank-you very much

You do have landing gear with an odd measurement, but all of the replacement landing gear will be the 29.5 inches or 33.5 inches long. The # LC241846 is 29.5 inches long on that outer tube. Even with the difference in height, the mount locations for the brackets will be 17.5 inches so you can get a replacement landing gear set that is compatible. I've attached a photo to help.

For that same 8,000 lb capacity, I recommend # RVLG-8000 to give you matching legs that are compatible with your mounts. This will allow you to use your current motor as well. This kit will allow 20-1/2 inches of travel. If you need more travel length, then I recommend the Bulldog Tandem Landing Gear Set - Drop Leg - 18" Lift - 8,000 lbs # BD500162 which will give you a total travel of 36 inches.

Unfortunately replacing the inner screw and collar nut isn't an available option.
