The day's adventure is done. The sun's fading, but your teardrop's still baking. This compact AC hums low, sips power, and chills tight spaces fast. You can relax in cool comfort while the heat claws at the world just outside your door.
You've had summer trips packed into small rigs with big heat. Maybe there were sweaty ridge hikes, sunbaked desert climbs, dirt on your arms, and salt drying on your neck. By the time you crawled into your rig, it was roasting inside, and the built-in fan wasn't cutting it. You probably lay there trying to sleep with the fan on full blast, still feeling like your skin couldn't breathe.
The Velit 2000R mini cools your space to a temperature your body can recover comfortably in. It runs directly off your battery bank without needing an inverter and pairs with the power system you already rely on. You don't have to trade peace and stillness for campground hookups. Breathe easier, sleep deeper, and wake up surrounded by the wild, not someone else's RV slide-out.
If you're relaxing under the stars and not ready for bed yet, you can still prep your rig without leaving the hammock. This AC gives you three ways to dial in the temp. Go old school with the onboard panel, use the included remote from your sleeping bag, or embrace technology and adjust it from your phone using the Velit app.
Ductless air conditioners, like this one, move air straight into the RV without relying on ceiling ductwork, making them ideal for smaller rigs, retrofits, or any setup where simplicity matters. With a ductless system, what you see is what you get: a rooftop unit connected directly to a ceiling assembly that pushes steady airflow into your living space. They're also perfect for adding a second AC to areas that never cool down properly, like an upper bunk or a rear bedroom.
Once it kicks on, it stays quiet. Eco Mode runs at 45 decibels, softer than a quiet conversation. Boost Mode tops out at 58 dB, more like steady white noise. It's quiet enough to hear the breeze, the rain, or whatever weird noises the woods are making, including sasquatch.
Most teardrop and truck campers already have a 14 inch by 14 inch roof fan. That's exactly what this AC is built to fit. You're not gonna have to make sketchy measurements and cut into your roof. Just pull the fan out, drop the Velit unit in, wire it up, and you're on to cooler nights. With the gasket, mounting hardware, trim panel, and wiring harness all in the box, you're nearly set from the start.
The compact, low-profile shape keeps things tight up top too. Its square footprint leaves room for solar panels, storage, or anything else you've got planned for your roof.
While the unit itself doesn't require additional components to operate, it's recommended to have a system in place to recharge your battery bank, such as solar panels or a generator, especially for extended off-grid use.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this VELIT Black 7500 BTU 2000R Mini RV Air Conditioner System with Remote. Now, this 7500 BTU AC is gonna chill your teardrop campers or your truck campers without draining your battery bank. This efficient 48-volt twin rotor compressor AC system runs directly off of your battery bank without needing an inverter. And it's gonna pair with a power system that you already rely on.
So, you're not gonna have to trade peace and stillness for campground hookups. And if you don't know, a 48-volt system is more efficient than your 12 or 24-volt systems for high load applications like air conditioners. It's gonna reduce amperage for a given power level, lowering heat and cable size requirements. 48 volts common in solar setups, especially where lithium iron phosphate batteries are used. Now, talking about some measurements here of this AC unit.
Looking at the overall length from front to back, we're sitting right at 26 inches long. The overall width is about 26 17/16ths inches wide. And then, the overall height is about 6 1/2 inches tall. The wiring harness that's included is about 15 feet long. The unit itself weighs a little under 50 pounds, so it's not really heavy at all.
And the compact low profile shape is going to keep things tight up top too. Its square footprint is going to leave room for solar panels, storage, or whatever else you have mapped out on your roof. Now, this air conditioner gives you three ways to dial in your temperature settings. And I can't really give you a view of the underneath because of the wave that I have this mounted here. So, I do have a photo there that I'm gonna pop up there on your screen.
So, you're gonna be able to go old school with the onboard panel that you see there to adjust. So, this'll be obviously coming through the roof and you'll be able to control the unit with this panel on your ceiling. But we also have a remote control here that's gonna be very easy to use. And you can, for instance, control the AC from, like, your sleeping bag. Or you can even use a, you can use your smartphone to adjust the settings as well with the free VELIT app that you can download from your smartphone app store. So, three ways to control this. It's gonna be very easy to do. Whatever's gonna be the most convenient for you. Once this kicks on, it's going to stay quiet. The Eco mode runs at 45 decibels. And that's typically softer than a quiet conversation. The Boost mode is gonna top out at about 58 decibels and that's more like a steady white noise. So, overall this is gonna be a very quiet system. Now, most teardrop and truck campers already have a 14-inch by 14-inch roof fan. So, that's exactly what this AC is built to fit. And you're not gonna have to make, like, sketchy measurements or cut into your roof. You're just gonna pull that current fan out and drop this unit in, wire it up, and you'll be good to go. And this basically has everything that you're going to need to get going. So, obviously you're gonna get the air conditioner unit. And then, you're also going to get these mounting brackets that you see here. And then, the ceiling gasket that you see here. And then, you're also going to get the interior trim panel. And then you're also, I mentioned the remote. You're also going to get the harness that I mentioned and also the hardware to get this installed into place. So, everything that you see here is going to be included in the system. And along with the user manual to guide you through the installation process. Now, while the unit itself doesn't require additional components to operate, it is recommended to have a system in place to recharge your battery bank, such as solar panels or generator, especially for extended off-grid use. And for van installs or other uneven surfaces, you do need to purchase the sealant separately. This won't come with any sealant. But sealant is not required for flat surface installs such as RV roofs or something or things like that. So, you might wanna make sure that you, whether you do or you don't need sealant. This does use the more energy efficient R-32 refrigerant. And if you do pick this up, we would love to hear back from you regarding your experience with getting this installed and using it. So, you can share your experience with us by dropping a comment or leaving a review on this product page. If you have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to give us a call. We wanna make sure that you get exactly what you need. I think it's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
