Question:
Thank you. Checked out the response. I’m interested in the Demco DM8550034 to go with that bracket. Like the idea of the auto slide feature. Will this combination be advised?

I have a solution for you, but it appears that your truck may have had an older four bolt fifth wheel rail kit based on the number of holes and the dimensions that you provided. The four bolt rail design has been pretty well phased out of the industry by almost every manufacturer, so your best option will be to look into the newer 10 bolt 5th wheel rail design. Although this will require you to drill more holes in your bed, the good news is that the new base rails should cover up the existing holes.
My recommendation is to install the Reese Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches 10 Bolt # RP50082-58. This kit will work with most fifth wheel hitches that use industry standard base rails. If you would like a recommendation, I recommend the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Single Jaw # RP30928.
