Changing a Reese 16K 5th-Wheel Hitch Slider to a 20K Slider

Question:

Hello, Currently I have a Reese 16k slider 5th wheel hitch RP30051. I need to upgrade to at least a 20k slider hitch for my new camper. Can I just change out the heads or do I have to buy an entire new slider hitch for my truck? Thanks,

Since the Slider, part # RP30048, for the Reese 16K 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30051 is rated for the Reese 15K, 16K, and 20K 5th-wheel trailer hitches all you will need to do is replace the head and head support.

The correct head and head support to make your setup 20K is part # 30118.
