Question:

My van /rv come with no sway bar how many inches is the hump stand out when the bar is parallel to the floor I have generator in the back my clearance is 3.5inch can I adust the bar down

For your 2017 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 2500 the Roadmaster sway bar kit part # RM-1209-128 is a confirmed fit and will work great. Since you do not have a factory sway bar you will need to also use the # RM-590064-00 when you install it.

If you check out the installed picture I attached for this sway bar you'll see that it mounts at an angle so getting the cut out dimension as it would be parallel to the ground may not be helpful. The picture though would most likely let you know if you have the needed clearance by comparing it to your setup.
