Question:
Where do we look to verify we have an OEM tow package wiring for a Santa Fe 2015 versus no tow package ?

The contents of a particular vehicle's factory towing package can vary greatly between models and manufacturers. For this reason, the best way to confirm whether or not your Hyundai Santa Fe is equipped with the tow package is to simply visit a local Hyundai dealer with your VIN. They will be able to use this information to tell you exactly what was installed on your vehicle at the factory.
Otherwise, you can check for the two built-in plugs located along the frame rail at the rear of your vehicle (see attached image). If you locate them, I also recommend testing them with a circuit tester like # PTW2993 while a buddy runs through the lighting functions in the vehicle to make sure the port is active. If it is active, this is an indication that you do indeed have the tow package and you can use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56332 for your 4-Way harness.
If you find that you do not have the factory tow package, you will instead need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56184, which will plug into built-in ports located in the rear cargo area.
I have attached an installation video on your vehicle for both harnesses so you can see exactly how they plug into the vehicle wiring.
