To use an electric brake controller in your 2010 Chevy Express you need to convert the 4-way trailer connetor to a 7-way. The easiest way to do this is using our # ETBC7 kit. The connector and wiring is included in the kit and I've linked a video showing it installed on a 2012 van. The process will be the same as on your 2010.
You also need a brake controller. I recommend the Prodigy P3, part # 90195 because of how reliable and easy to use it is. It's one of our top sellers.
