Question:
How do I choose what motor for my gooseneck horse trailer . To replace manual jack its a Sundowner 2horse. Close guess it needs to lift 5000 lbs. Total trailer length is 28 ft.

The Sundowner 2 horse trailers usually use a weld on square jack. To replace it I recommend the Bulldog Square Jack # BD182304.
If you wanted to add a motor to this style of jack, I recommend the Bulldog Powered-Drive Kit for Single-Speed Jacks # BD1824200100.
This product will include the wiring harness, motor, circuit breaker, and rocker switch in weatherproof box. This will allow you to simply connect to a 12V battery. I've attached a video to show you the installation.
If you are looking for just a motor for your existing jack, please let me know the exact type of existing jack you have, so I can give you that recommendation.

so I have a 2002 fifth wheel featherlite horse trailer with dual landing leg and it has an electric motor but unable to read the model. it has the same set up as the photos above. I just want to make sure the motor kit BD1824200100 will work?
