Do Reese Fifth Wheel Rail Kits have Weight Capacities

Question:

What is the GTW for this type of universal rail kit. I ask because of the rails only having one bolt on each end secured to the “L” bracket attached to the frame and the other bolt only going through the beds sheet metal.

We've asked Reese before about the weight capacity of their fifth wheel rail kits like the part # RP30035 that you referenced and they have told us that the limiting factor will always be the hitch that is installed in the rails and the rail kit essentially will support the capacity of any fifth wheel hitch that is installed in them.

That includes overall trailer towing capacity and pin weight capacity which is the vertical weight the hitch puts down onto the rails.
