Yes, we do carry a front mount hitch for your 2025 Ram 2500 diesel. The EcoHitch Hidden Front Mount # EH37FR will fit both diesel and non-diesel models, but it will not fit the Power Wagon models. There’s no drilling required for installation, but you will need to make modifications to both the front air dam and the intercooler shroud.

@MichaelD This hitch has a 1,000 lbs. vertical load limit, so will be more than enough for that bike and your carrier.

@GwendolynY On your website it says fits 2025 Ram 2500, excluding diesel models. Curt brand of front hitch also excludes diesel models. Im not feeling confident purchacing an item that states excludes diesel models for something I am going to use on a diesel model (Big Horn, not power wagon). Can this be triple checked please? :)

@MichaelD Correct, Curt does not have a hitch that will fit a diesel. The hitch linked is from EcoHitch which is a line of hitch from TorkLift. They confirmed that the hitch is a fit for diesel and non diesel models. I went through their fit guide on their website and selected diesel and the same hitch pulls up, part # EH37FR, or their part number is X7910. You're more than welcome to reach out to them directly to confirm if you would like.

The hitch works great, installation was fairly easy I did it myself with help from a floor jack. Make sure you talk with the people from etrailer to get the right hitch, I ordered the first hitch without consulting them and got the wrong hitch, then had to send it back which cost me extra!

@MikeS I put the eco hitch on the front of my 2019 ram 3500 diesel. A bit of finagling but went on easy enough. I used it for the same thing. Motorcycle carrier for when towing my trailer. 300lb motor and about a 60lb carrier.

I installed the EcoHitch on my 2024 RAM 2500 Diesel 4x4 and had issue with step 6A in the instructions. The step directs to place the side plate spacer between the truck frame and the hitch side plate, one side plate spacer for each side of the hitch. The side plate spacers make up the elevation difference of the frame welds. On the drives side of my RAM the welded mount for the steering gear box makes this elevation difference double the thickness of the side plate spacer. To mount the side plate on the drivers side, I had to use two side plate spacers so that the side plate would mount flat across the frame of the RAM. Have to use the two side plate spacers that came with the hitch on the drivers side, left me without a side plate spacer for the passengers side. I called eTrailers and explained the issue and they said they would send another side plate spacer, the spacer never arrived. I called EcoHitch, they took info to send me a spacer, it never arrived. I happened to have some aluminum plate in my shop that was the correct thickness and using one of the side plate spacers that came with the hitch as a template and fabricated a spacer. Perhaps this is a one off issue on my RAM alone however I recommend that eTrailer and or EcoHitch look in to the spacer issue as others may have the same spacing issue to deal with.

@CarlH Hey, Carl. I'm sorry to hear about the side plates. I checked on your order and looks like per communication that everything got resolved for in the case of the spacers. Again, I do want to apologize that you ran into the mishap.

We put the Ecohitch on the front of our 2023 3500 diesel ram. It is for our electric bikes because the back hitch is covered by the truck camper. Works great. The hitch is heavy (two people install?) and some of the existing bolts to be removed are factory torqued high (cheater bar). Also, the front air dam is heavy duty, took a while to trim. Tip: leave everything loose until together as the hitch needs to slid into the new side support brackets. Took us a few hours.

Started with sawzall, vibrated bad. Ended up with utility knife with new blade. Probably would have worked better in a vise for the sawzall (didn't have a vise).

@Karen Those can vibrate a lot. I used a sawzall for a DIY project at home and my hands felt like they were vibrating for a while after using it.

I have a 5th generation ram 3500 dually diesel and this hitch is the( only) hitch I found that fits it. It’s very durable. I’ve carried a motorcycle rack and a 360lb motorcycle all over this wonderful nation with no problems. The sale add was misleading when I bought it. I had to call a sales person who clarified
