Hi! I have a 2003 Ram 2500 diesel. My right turn signal flasher is out at the computer and my understanding is a modulator kit can work around this so I dont need to replace truck computer. Can you help me put together all of the parts I need. I tried on my own but only found 4 pin connectors and I will need the 7 pin. Are there specific instructions for my truck wire colors etc?. Thanks!

A lot of people have done what you are looking to do simply because the part they need is fairly pricey and they may have to eventually replace it again. We will need to bypass the trailer wiring on your 2003 Ram 2500 completely so we will need to act as though you have no wiring installed.
For your situation you will need to start off by installing a 4-Way Flat connector. We have found Tekonsha to be one of the most reliable electronic manufacturers out there so I recommend going with the Upgraded Circuit Protected Tail Light Converter Hardwire Kit # 119178KIT. We tend to recommend the second option because it requires that a lead wire be run to the battery to power the 4-Way. This will completely bypass the wiring on your Ram because the other wiring basically acts as a trigger.
Then to install a 7-Way on your Ram you will want to use out Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7. This will plug into the 4-Way that you just installed and includes everything that you will need for a fully-functioning 7-Way.
