Question:
Hi I have a 2003 dodge 2500 with the 5.9 Cummins and as everyone know they had a ridiculous idea for their trailer lights my issue is my right turn signal and brake light doesn’t work on any trailer we own but works on the truck I’ve traced it all the way back to the fuse box and have no power I’m assuming it’s the relay buried inside the fuse box they want $400-$700 for a new fuse box with the chance of it happening again down the road that being said I’m wondering if their is a way to bypass it completely and yet cheaper and not have to deal with it anymore

To bypass the factory trailer wiring on your 2003 Dodge Ram (which is indeed known for some fun issues) I recommend using the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55504. This harness will plug into ports behind your truck's tail lights to provide you with a new 4-Way connector that doesn't go through the factory trailer wiring circuits.
If you are currently using a 4-Way to connect with your trailer then this is all you need. If you have a 7-Way then you can just add the Hopkins Adapter # 37185. This will plug right into the mentioned 4-Way to give you a 7-Way connector at the other end. If you only need to power your trailer's signal lights then the additional wire leads (other than the white ground wire) can just be tied off.
If you need a fully functional 7-Way (your trailer has electric brakes or you use the connector to charge a trailer battery) then I instead recommend using the Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7 to upgrade the new 4-Way to a 7-Way. This kit includes everything needed to do this.
I have attached a couple video reviews and the written installation instructions for these products that you can check out as well.
