Does the Curt T-Connector Wiring Harness # C55379 Need to be Run to Battery on Toyota Tacoma

Question:

I want to use C55379 with a 2002 Tacoma, do I need to run a separate 12v supply to power it? Thanks

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55379 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2002 Toyota Tacoma. This custom harness will install by connecting directly to the built-in ports located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will need to remove the tail light assemblies to access the harness. Once connected, this will complete your installation. This particular harness does not need to be run to the vehicle's battery with an additional power wire.
