Will Camco 2-Stage Regulator CAM59323 Fit in Place of a Cavagna 524AS Regulator

Question:

Is this Camco item a suitable replacement for a Cavagna Model 524AS 2-stage regulator? The regulator I am looking to replace was being used, by the previous owner of our home, to connect a propane tank to a fireplace supply line. When I hooked up a new tank and turned on the supply, I felt a leak from one of the diaphragm chambers and could smell the gas, so I figure I need to replace the regulator. I will appreciate any insight you can provide... thanks in advance!

Though the design is slightly different you can use the Camco Horizontal 2-Stage Propane Regulator # CAM59323 in place of the Cavagna Model 524AS 2-stage regulator. I have linked a video review of this regulator for you.
