Question:
Hello. I have an old boat trailer in need of a new hub. The axel is 3” long and is 1” in size and then the seal sits on a 1.5 inch axel. Picture attached the hub length is 4 and 1/4 inches long from end to end. Is there a hub here that will work for this axel?

We do have a replacement for you with the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-440-2-G-2K. This uses inner and outer bearing # L44649 which has a 1.063" inner diameter and then a grease seal with a 1.50" inner diameter like you mentioned.
From the 4 bolts in the background I'm guessing you have a 4 on 4" bolt pattern just like this hub has. The only difference is that it looks like you put bolts through your hub each time whereas this idler hub already has bolts installed. This means that you will need to use the included coned lug nuts to secure each wheel.
Attached is a review video for this idler hub that you can check out as well as a list of our lug nuts that you can filter through.
