Question:

I just purchased a 2017 Ford Fuse Winnebago it has a 2016 Ford Transit Chasis. I need to tow trailer and golf cart , combined weight of 3000 lbs. Need to know what hitch will work.

The available trailer hitches for the 2016 Ford Transit T350 are not designed to fit the cab and chassis/cut away models but we do have options that you could use.

The most popular option is # 13703. It can actually be bolted on or welded on. Welding should be done by a professional welder. It will fit frame widths (outside of one frame rail to the outside of the other) from 22 inches to 72 inches. And it fits box frames, I-beam frames, and C-channel frames. It is rated for 3,500 pounds gross trailer weight.

Michael, I have the same issue. How did her situation go? I have been working with everyone to upgrade without success.

@Art Art, we don't have any follow up but I don't see why it wouldn't work. This hitch is universal, so it will work with anything as long as the frame fits within the 22" to 72" frame width range.
