Question:
Good afternoon, I see that you have a hitch available for a 2015 BMW X4 Curt C13316. As we primarily intend to use the hitch to attach a bike rack or storage rack, we are less concerned with towing capacity, etc. However, my wife is concerned with what it will look like on the car she owned it before we met, so she wins these arguments. Do you have before-after pictures available for the X4, or can you show us pictures of similar models? Or, aside from the product I linked to above, is there something else youd recommend for the X4 for our purposes. Thank you very much in advance.

The Curt 2-inch hitch # C13316 is a confirmed fit on the 2015 BMW X4, both the xDrive28i and the xDrive35i versions. This is the only hitch option we offer for this vehicle.
Although we have not yet had a local customer come in for on-site installation of this item in their X4 we do have several customers that have shared with us their own post-installation photos. One is linked for you. You can see these on the hitch's main page. The linked instructions also have a photo of the final installation.
Most of the hitch will be hidden behind the bumper beam assembly, which is temporarily removed for hitch installation. This makes the install fairly discrete in cosmetic terms.
Since this hitch offers a 400-lb tongue weight rating (TW is downward force on the hitch tube from what is installed in it) you can use a 2-inch cargo carrier with a substantial weight capacity. The combined total weight of your carrier and its contents needs to remain within the rated capacity for the hitch.
As an example, the Curt 2-inch cargo basket # C18151 weighs approximately 70-lbs. This means that you could load up to 330-lbs of cargo in the carrier without exceeding the hitch limit. For an anti-rattle hitch lock to both stabilize and secure the carrier you can use # 63232. For a cargo net you can use # C18201 or for a cargo bag to protect your items you can use Curt waterproof cargo bag # C18211.
