Switching between trailers with different wiring setups is no problem with this adapter. It lets you connect a 7-way round socket on your vehicle to a 6-way round plug on your trailer. No rewiring or splicing needed—just plug it in and you’re ready to tow.
If you haul different trailers, you know how frustrating mismatched connectors can be. This plug-only adapter gives you a quick, clean solution. Snap it into place and it bridges the wiring so lights, brakes, and turn signals work as they should.
No need to worry about brand-specific compatibility. The universal fit design makes this adapter handy whether you’re towing a camper, cargo trailer, or utility trailer. It’s built to work where a 7-blade round meets a 6-round connection.
Roadmaster builds gear meant for the road, and this adapter feels solid from the start. The connectors hold tight to prevent loose wiring and keep your trailer lights powered reliably through every trip.

Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a real quick look together at this Roadmaster 7-way to 6-way round adapter. So folks, just like it said, you're gonna go from a 7-way or 7-blade, some people call it, to a 6-way round adapter. Now, this will plug into that 7-way socket, and then on the other end, you're gonna have that 6-way round harness to plug in here. So most likely, it's probably gonna be used if you're flat towing a vehicle of some sort and you're adapting maybe a cord you already have from 6-round to the RV or maybe even a gooseneck trailer or construction trailer, something like that potentially. But a very simple device that can save you in a pinch, especially if you have multiple trailers or things you're towing.
That's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
