Hitch Extender Compatibility with 2 Inch Receiver Load Extender

Question:

Although this part is advertised to work with Thule, I am curious to know if it will fit on a TriCam steel load extender.

The Replacement Backbone for Thule 2 Bike Expansion Accessory 753-3588 will not work with your load extender, however I do have an option for you. The Curt Extender for 2" Receivers -18" Long # C45796 will work in a similar way and will be just 1 inch shorter than the Thule part you mentioned. This will reduce your hitch tongue weight capacity by 50% and you will want to consider the amount of torque on your hitch from having an accessory carrying weight that far out from your hitch. You will not be able to carry as much weight as your load extender is rated for because that is based only the distance of the original unit. I've attached a link to all your extender options.
