Can Custom Holes be Drilled Into a Redline Pre-Drilled Round Rubber Bumper

Hi, I am needing a rear rubber trailer bumper but the 2 pre-drilled hole patterns doesnt match my trailer. Can those bumpers be drilled with different pre-drilled hole patterns? Thanks

Since the Redline Pre-Drilled Round Bumpers, part # D3-96, part # D2-96, and part # D4-96, are made of rubber I see no reason why you cannot drill out mounting holes so that they are custom to your hole patterns. If you will be using the full 96 inches of the bumpers then you may want to consider drilling more mounting holes in your trailer so that the bumper has more support. I recommend drilling out holes to match the rest of the pre-drilled holes to avoid more drilling.

Keep in mind that you will need to supply your own mounting hardware.

The Pre-Drilled Round Rubber Trailer Bumper #D2-96 that you referenced does not come with any metal framing inside of it. I attached a picture the bumper with it flexed to show you it doesn't have anything metal inside of it.

I spoke with Redline and although they didn't have the inside dimensions of the rubber bumper, they told me that for a 1-1/2" support you would need to use the Pre-Drilled Round Rubber Trailer Bumper part #D3-96.
