  That would depend on several different factors such how much the door sticks out away from the trailer and how much the handle sticks out away from the door. However, if you do run into clearance issues you can always install a spacer on the hinge for the Lock Side-Door Bar Lock Assembly part # 305736 which you can see in the attached photo.   It sounds like you are looking for replacement parts for a 2-point cam-door lock. We have many such kits, shown on the linked page, both kits that include the pipe like # 305736 and kits that do not, such as Universal Cam-Door Lock # PLR158. For this you would need to re-use your pipe (so long as it is 3/4-inch inner diameter) or supply a new one. For such an installation you will need to weld the handle to the pipe.

  If you want an entire replacement latch assembly you could use the # 305736 you were looking at. I can't quite tell from the picture but it looks like that is the old pipe and what you really need is a handle to attach. The # 158-100 could be welded onto the existing pipe to replace your handle. If you want to replace the hasp as well then you could get the # PLR3057 instead.

These come with the pipe, but there is also the stainless steel Cam-Action Lockable Door Latch for Fold Down Trailer Gate or Side Door # PLR3057-SS which doesn't come with the pipe but does require 3/4" pipe....

  To use a cam door style trailer latch on a trailer door that sticks out 1 inch past surface you'd want to use a spacer behind the latch mechanisms that attach on the door. I'd also go with a setup like the part # PLR258-002-SS which allows you to provide your own bar. You could attach the latch on top of the bar so that you get more offset as well.
