  • Round Rubber Horse Trailer Bumper Guard Needed That's 84" Long
Thanks for reaching out, Tracey! The 96" Long Pre-Drilled Round Rubber Trailer Bumper # D2-96 is the only length that we carry. If the pre-drilled version works best for your application I recommend picking this one up and then trimming it to best suit your needs. Since this is just a big piece of rubber you won't be causing structural damage by trimming on 12" of it.

  • Replacement for 84 Inch Bumper on Horse Trailer
All of our bumper strips are 96" long and have the holes pre-drilled out at 11" on center, but the nice thing is these can be cut and re-drilled to accommodate your application. You just need to choose which one has the width you're looking for: 2-1/16" Width - # D2-96 3" Width - # D3-96 4" Width - # D4-96 So these will definitely work, you'll just need to do some modification to make it work.

  • Rubber Bumper for Stock Trailer
We do have some rubber bumpers for you to install on your stock trailer. They are all 96" long so it just depends on what kind of width you're looking for: 96" Long x 2-1/16" Wide - # D2-96 96" Long x 3" Wide - # D3-96 96" Long x 4" Wide - # D4-96 These come pre-dilled with holes every 11" but you can cut these to length and drill new holes to match your application if you need to. Attached is a review video for you to check out.

  • Can Washer Be Used Under Head Of Bolt To Mount Round Rubber Trailer Bumper D2-96?
If you can squeeze a washer through the hole with the head of the bolt, then you can absolutely use one to mount the Pre-Drilled Round Rubber Trailer Bumper - 96" Long x 2-1/16" Wide # D2-96 to your bumper, but one is not required even though you do not have a backer bar as long as you use the correct 5/8" diameter bolts. Keep in mind that mounting hardware is not included so you will need to source it from your local hardware store. I included a video of the # D2-96 for you to take a look at.

  • How to Install Redline Pre-Drilled Round Rubber Bumper # D2-96
The Redline Pre-Drilled Round Rubber Bumper # D2-96 can be installed in a variety of ways depending on the nature of the trailer. The holes are drilled all the way through to allow user-supplied hardware to mount it. We also offer a larger size bumper # D3-96 that measures 3-inches x 3-inches. No special tool is required for installation; you will use whatever tool is appropriate for the fasteners you choose.

  • Changing a Trailer Ramp Door To Barn Doors On A 6x14 V-Nose Enclosed Trailer
To create barn doors out of your ramp door, you will need hinges and a latch. I suggest a latch/lock system like the Universal Cam-Door Lock for Enclosed Trailers - 1" Keeper, # 383200. This will use a 3/4 inch diameter pipe that you'll have to get at a local hardware store, but the bridge-type keeper prevents accidental opening and ensures safe locking action. It will also allow you to use a separate lock like # ML1KA to secure your cargo. We will also need hinges similar to Strap...

  • Center To Center Hole Spacing on Redline # D2-96 Rubber Bumpers
The holes in the Redline # D2-96 Pre-Drilled Round Rubber Bumpers are 11-1/2 inches on center. You can see the full dimensions by looking at the photo I've edited for you.

  • Can Custom Holes be Drilled Into a Redline Pre-Drilled Round Rubber Bumper
Since the Redline Pre-Drilled Round Bumpers, part # D3-96, part # D2-96, and part # D4-96, are made of rubber I see no reason why you cannot drill out mounting holes so that they are custom to your hole patterns. If you will be using the full 96 inches of the bumpers then you may want to consider drilling more mounting holes in your trailer so that the bumper has more support. I recommend drilling out holes to match the rest of the pre-drilled holes to avoid more drilling. Keep in mind...

  • Rubber Bumper Options for Rear of Horse Trailer
We have 3 different rubber bumpers that you can use for your horse trailer. They all measure 96" long but have different widths so you'll just need to choose the appropriate width: 2-1/16" Width - # D2-96 3" Width - # D3-96 4" Width - # D4-96 These can be cut to length and modified as needed. There are holes every 11" but if you need mounting locations different than that you can drill out holes to fit your application. Attached is a review video for you to check out.

  • Does Pre-Drilled Round Rubber Trailer Bumper # D2-96 Have Metal Backing Plate
The Pre-Drilled Round Rubber Trailer Bumper # D2-96 that you referenced does not come with any metal framing inside of it. I attached a picture the bumper with it flexed to show you it doesn't have anything metal inside of it.

  • Separating Brake and Turn Signals, Adding a Reverse Light, and Ramp Door Support for a Trailer
First, trailers in the US use what is called a combined 2-wire system. The brake lights and turn signals are on the same circuit on each side. The turn signal overrides the brake light on the side blinking. In order to have separate turn signals you would need additional amber turn signals and you would need to do some rewiring. On the trailer side you would need to install a special converter, # 118158. The combined left turn/brake wire connects to the yellow input wire, right turn and...

  • Can Pre-Drilled Round Rubber Bumper - 2 inch x 96 inch be Cut to Fit the Width of 60 inch Trailer
Yes, the Pre-Drilled Round Rubber Bumper - 2 inch x 96 inch part #, D2-96 can be cut down to fit any application you may have. After going out into the warehouse and looking at the bumper I recommend either using a utility knife to very carefully cut it, or securing the rubber tightly and using a sawz-all to make the cut.

  • Is Specific Mounting Hardware Required for Pre-Drilled Round Rubber Trailer Bumper
The Pre-Drilled Round Rubber Trailer Bumper # D2-96 is designed to be used with 5/8" Bolts, which are not included, so you'll just want to source it from your local hardware store. The bolt holes are pre-drilled so you don't have to worry about cutting through the rubber with a drill before mounting. When it comes to cutting to size, you should be able to cut it fairly quickly using a rotary tool or pair of shears and it shouldn't be too difficult using the right tools.
