The hub casting number 8-283 could appear on more than one specific hub so the best way to find out if we have the exact one you need is to pull it off the spindle and remove its bearings. Those bearing part numbers will tell us the weight rating of the hub, which is essential to finding the right replacement. You also need to know the wheel bolt pattern (see the linked article, please) to choose a hub that works with your wheel bolt pattern.
You can refer to the linked article on popular trailer bearings to see the parts most often associated with a specific axle weight rating. For instance, if your hub uses part # L44649 for both inner and outer bearing it is on a 2K axle and each hub is therefore rated for 1K. If your hub uses inner bearing # 25580 and outer bearing # 15123 the axle is likely to be rated for 6K and each hub rated for 3K. The linked photo shows you the typical appearance of these bearing part numbers.
Once you have those you can simply click on those parts on the linked hub page to see all hub parts that use the same bearings.
