When conditions turn muddy or uneven, this tire-and-wheel combo digs in with a deep, aggressive tread that keeps traction where you need it. The Loadstar ST235/75R15 radial tire uses double steel belts and full nylon piles for strength and long life while channeling water away to stay steady in wet, snowy, or icy spots. The 8-ply, Load Range D build supports up to 2,860 lbs at 65 psi so it can handle serious loads without breaking a sweat.
Even though it’s designed for off-road use, this combo is fully capable on the highway. Rated for up to 99 mph (speed rating Q), it meets all Department of Transportation specs for safe use on paved roads. That means dependable handling and a smooth ride whether you’re on long hauls or quick weekend runs.
Salt spray, humidity, and road grime don’t stand a chance against this wheel’s finish. The 15" x 6" aluminum wheel is lightweight, rustproof, and coated inside and out with a matte black powder coat plus a clear layer that protects from scuffs and scratches. It looks sharp while staying protected season after season.
Set up is straightforward thanks to the common 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, 3.19" pilot diameter, and 0 offset. The wheel is rated for 3,200 lbs, matching perfectly with the tire’s capacity so you get balanced performance across the setup. Wheel bolt size is 1/2"-20 for secure mounting every time.
The Loadstar tire includes a 1-year worry-free guarantee—if it’s damaged within the first 12 months, it’s replaced at no charge. On top of that, there’s a 2-year limited warranty for the wheel and a 5-year limited warranty for the tire. That’s real assurance built right in.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Kenda Loadstar ST 235/75 R15 Radial Off-Road Trailer Tire in a load range D on this 15 inch matte black aluminum trailer wheel with the five on four and a half inch bolt pattern. Now this tire and wheel assemblies ideal for trailers, offroading on mud or other uneven terrain, but it can also be used on highways and other paved roads. It is on a wheel, it's an aluminum wheel, which is durable, lightweight, and rust proof. And it's the Sendel Series T17 wheel, which is a mesh style design with a matte black finish.
And what's nice on this wheel, they use a clear coat finish on the front, and even on the back to protect it from any scuffs and scratches. The size on this wheel, the diameter is 15 inches. The width on just the wheel is six inches wide. This wheel does have a bolt pattern of five on four and a half inches. And the pilot hole diameter, which is the large hole here in the center of the wheel.
Diameter of that opening is 3.19 inches. And I mentioned that because if you notice, this wheel does not have a center cap. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately. And you do wanna make sure to get a center cap that has that same diameter as the pilot hole, 3.19 inches. This does use a wheel lug size of a half inch by 20, and the weight capacity on just the wheel is 3,200 pounds.
The tire is a Kenda Loadstar special trailer radial tire. And this radio tire is constructed with double steel belts, full nylon ply for a nice long life. And if you look at the tread design, it is a deep rugged tread blocks. It gives you excellent grip into off-road conditions. It is an ST tire.
It stands for "Special Trailer tire." It has the sturdy sidewall so they can handle heavy loads. And it is created specifically for trailers. It's not intended for use on other vehicles. The tire size, which will be stamped on the sidewall, if we look at it right here, ST for "Special Trailer." 235/75 R15. The R means it's a radial tire. Section width on this is 9.3 inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the top when it's inflated is 29 inches. And this tire is a load range D, which means it's an eight ply rated tire. Maximum load capacity on this is 2,860 pounds at 65 PSI. And they do carry a speed rating on these tires, and they stamp it on the side wall by a letter designation. And where you can find that, it's right after the tire size we just went over, you'll see two numbers for the load index and then the letter Q at the end. Speed rating Q means this has a 99 mile per hour speed rating. Now this tire wheel as some assembly does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications. But that's gonna do it for the review on this Kenda Loadstar ST 235/75 R15 Radial Off-Road Trailer Tire in a load range D, mounted on this 15 inch matte black aluminum trailer wheel.

Really good set up for my adventure trailer. Tires are made to haul the weight of my trailer, they look rugged and fit the style of my trailer.
The tires are strong and I will have no worries on the road. The tire and wheel are perfect combination and are some of the coolest you will see on the road. etrailer shipped them out immediately after purchase and has excellent communication. Unfortunately, both wheels did have minor scratches, but I’m sure that happened in shipping. I’m going to put them on the trailer today and I can’t wait to get them on the road.
Great tire and wheel combo, I needed to upgrade from load range C tires to load Range D8 ply. So I ordered these from etrailer. Everything came exactly as I ordered in perfect condition no damage love them. I have past experience with Kenda tires as a 35 year retired fleet mechanic. And they are exceptionally good tires, wear like iron.
I used Kenda tires on all of the golf carts used on campuses across the school district. Those carts were treated like toys used and abused by employees and students. And the Kenda tires that I used on them exclusively were the only ones that would hold up for a good amount of time.

That's awesome that we are able to carry a brand that you have been relying on for so long, Jeff! I can definitely tell they are long lasting if they are able to take the beating from all the years from your students.

Took them on a three state trip from the Central Valley of Ca. To Idaho. Zero trouble with either wheels or tires, performed perfectly. Never even had to add air once. Tracked like I expected from Kenda no issues period. Great combo!
Condition: Surface Scratches
Notes: 3 minor scratches to face of rim, otherwise in like new condition.

If I could vote for my favorite trailer this takes the prize, that is a really cool looking rig. Those tires and rims fit it perfectly I'd say. Do you have any big trips, or adventures I should say, planned?
