When you’re logging serious miles in hot or heavy conditions, you need a setup that holds steady. The Karrier ST205/75R15 radial tire is built with an 8-ply rating and handles up to 2,200 lbs at 65 psi. It’s rated for 81 mph (speed rating M), so you can run highway speeds with confidence. The radial construction keeps heat buildup low and tread life long, giving you a smooth, stable ride mile after mile.
Saltwater, rain, or just years of use — this wheel shrugs it off. The 15" diameter x 5" wide aluminum wheel is lightweight, corrosion resistant, and finished in matte black with a clear coat on both sides to protect against scuffs and scratches. It’s fitted with steel inserts in the lug nut wells that prevent wear and help keep the wheel tight on the hub. The open-spoke design looks sharp and stays that way for the long haul.
No extra shop stop needed. This tire-and-wheel combo arrives already mounted so you can bolt it on and go. Each tire should be inflated to 65 psi before hitting the road, but it’s shipped close to proper pressure to save time. The assembly meets DOT specifications and includes a 1-year worry-free guarantee — if the tire is damaged within the first year, it’ll be replaced at no charge.
Radial ply construction means the cords run at 90 degrees across the tire, reducing rolling resistance and keeping heat low. Combined with double steel belts and full nylon plies, you get superior traction whether it’s wet or dry. This wheel is built for simple fitment with common trailer hubs. It uses a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, a 3.19" pilot diameter, zero offset, and accepts 1/2"-20 lug nuts torqued to 90–100 ft-lbs. Each wheel is rated for a full 2,200 lbs of capacity to match the tire rating, so every part of the assembly pulls its weight without compromise.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Let's take a look together at this Kenda Karrier ST205/75R15 load range D radial trailer tire with this 15 inch aluminum wheel with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now this tire and wheel assembly is going to be ideal for your boat trailer, your stock trailers, utility trailers, campers and this special trailer tire or ST tire has sturdy sidewalls so that it can handle heavy loads. This is created specifically for trailers and not intended for use on other vehicles. As you know, radio ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway and this radial tire is constructed with double steel belts and full nylon ply's that combine for superior function and long life.
This computer generated tread design and premium rubber compound materials are gonna give you superior traction in wet or dry conditions. Now as I stated at the beginning of our time together and as we have stamped here on our tire, this is an ST205/75R15. The section width of this tire is 7.9 inches and the outer diameter is 27.3 inches. This is a load range D tire, meaning it has an 8 ply rating and the maximum load is 2,200 pounds at 65 PSI. And this tire has a speed rating of M indicating a maximum speed of 81 miles per hour.
This matte black aluminum wheel is durable, lightweight and rust proof. This open spoke design is unique and appealing and the clear coat finish on the front and on the back is going to protect this wheel from scuffs and scratches. This wheel does feature steel inserts in the lug nut wells that are gonna help keep this wheel securely in place on your trailer hub. And those steel inserts are going to also prevent the holes from wearing down, eliminating the need for constant re tightening of the lug nuts. The dimensions of our wheel measuring from bead seat to bead seat, we're at 15 inches in diameter and the width of this wheel is 5 inches.
And on our bolt pattern I mentioned that this is a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. In case you don't know that first number on the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes and that second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which the bolt holes sit. So to determine the bolt circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes as we have here, you're simply going to measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. The wheel capacity is 2,200 pounds. The wheel stud size is a 1/2 an inch by 20.
The center cap is sold separately, but if you decide to pick one up, you just wanna make sure that it fits a pilot diameter of 3.19 inches. This tire and wheel assembly does meet the Department of Transportation specifications and I think that's going to wrap up our brief look today.
