How is Bumper Trimmed on 2016 Jeep Cherokee With Curt Hitch C13172

Question:

I have a 2016 Jeep Cherokee - I think it is a limited. It has dual exhaust tips and 6 cylindar. I like the idea of the below curt receiver but I'm not sure what happens around the area where the bumper has to be cut. I can't find a close up photo of that portion on your site. I don't doubt that its there.. I just cant find/see it. Thanks Item # C13172

There is going to be a small cutout underneath the bumper of your 2016 Jeep Cherokee when Curt hitch # C13172 is installed. If you take a look at the video I've linked and forward to about the 2:25 mark you will be able to see exactly what the trimming process involves. I've also added a photo for you of what the underside of the bumper looks like after it's been trimmed.
