Fascia Trim Diagram to Install Curt Trailer Hitch C13133 on a 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan

Question:

I have a 2017 VW tiguan, and I noticed that it does not have a preformed panel that can be cut for clearance hole to fit the hitch receiver. I was wondering if you had a paper pattern, or maybe some other starting point to make the cut? I dont want to make the hole too big, or cut in the wrong location.

Curt trailer hitch # C13133 has instructions that include a trim diagram but it states it is for R-Line models. I have included that diagram for you.

For non-R-Line models you can follow the video I have linked. One of the first things our installer does is trim the fascia.
