Question:
I have this combo kit but what else do I need to wire my 2017 Chevy Spark for flat towing behind a 2018 Newmar Ventana LE? The Ventana is a combined system, the 2017 Spark is a separate system with amber turn signals. The stop and tail light bulbs on the Spark only have one single filament and all the wires going to the sockets for all the tail lights are very thin much smaller than 16 ga, more like 20 ga. Thanks

RoadMaster Falcon 2 and Falcon All-Terrain Combo Towing Kit with Straight Wiring Item # RM-9243-1 is all you will need to wire your 2017 Chevy Spark for flat towing. Your 2018 Newmar Vetana should already have a 7-Way trailer connector on it which means the brake lights and turn signals are combined in that connector despite what type of tail light system the RV has.
On the vehicle side the wiring will provide a combined brake/turn signals on each side and running lights. If you want to have the turn signals separate then you will also need 2 additional diodes, # RM-792, and converter # 118158. I have included a picture of what this looks like.
The size of the wiring on the vehicle will just require that you use the proper size connectors when splicing wires. If the included connectors are too large you can always fold the vehicle wiring over itself effectively doubling the size.
