I have a 2001 F350 Super Duty and a 2002 F350 Super Duty. Will 118243 work on both pickups?

The Ford Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring Harness, # 118243, will fit the 2001 Ford F-350 Super Duty, but not the 2002. I have included a link to the installation details for this harness for you to view.
For the 2002 Ford F-350 Super Duty, it is a hardwire situation. If the truck came with a 4-Way flat trailer connector, you will need to add part # 37185. The 4-Way plugs into the back of it and the remaining 4 wires need to be hardwired.
White grounds to the truck frame
Purple attaches to the reverse light circuit
Blue attaches to blue wire of a brake controller
Black attaches to positive battery terminal via a 40 amp circuit breaker # PK54540
To make the blue and black wire connections, an additional length of wire will be needed. About 20 feet (enter quantity of 20) of # 10-2-1.
