Best Way To Level Headlight Aim On A 2010 Ford F-150

Question:
Im looking at installing subject part on my 2010 F150 145WB truck in order to level it when towing a trailer. Currently the rear bumper drops when I attach the trailer, and when towing at night, oncoming traffic flash brights, so I know my low beams are too high during tow. Will this kit cause the rear of truck to be higher than stock when the trailer is not connected and the air springs have the 5 psig minimum pressure? Thank you,

Expert Reply:
No, the Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs part # AL59568 will not raise the rear of your 2010 Ford F-150 while unattached from a trailer and set at the recommended minimum rating of 5 psi. These helper springs are also a great option to improve headlight aim while towing.
Although the Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs will work for you, I recommend using the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2525 as the double convoluted airbags included in this kit are far superior to the sleeve airbags included in the AirLift kit.
I have attached an installation video of both airbag kits installed on a 2010 Ford F-15 for you.
