Recommended Fulton F2 Trailer Jack to Replace Dutton Lainson Jack on Trailer

Updated 07/28/2017 | Published 07/27/2017

Question:

Hi, I have a ram-lin trailer with a trailer jack mounting bracket, it had a dutton lainson jack on it previously and the holes on the bracket are 3.5 x 3.5 on center. I would like to purchase a Fulton f2 but would like to know if it will mount to the existing holes first. Any help would be appreciated.

The Fulton F2 Swing-Up Trailer Jack with No Mounting Hardware # F1413100334 referenced in your question features a bolt pattern that is 3-3/8 inches on center x 4-3/8 inches on center. There is not a Fulton jack currently available that includes a mounting plate that matches the 3-1/2 inch x 3-1/2 inch pattern that you mentioned.

To use this particular jack, you will just need to a new plate welded to the trailer like part # F500277. Another option is the weld on Fulton F2 Swing-Up Trailer Jack # F1413060334, which includes the needed plate to weld onto the trailer.

I also recommend taking a look at a bolt on option like the Fulton F2 # F1413040134 that will simply bolt onto any 3 inch x 3 inch or 3 inch x 4 inch trailer tongue.

I have attached a few video demonstrations on these products that you can check out.
