RE Hopkins vs Curt 4 wire setup for 2011 XC-70. Seem identical...except for cost. ?? HM11143735 vs C56386 Am I missing something??

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56386 and the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # HM11143735 are similar units from different manufacturers that are both confirmed fits for your 2011 Volvo XC70. The cost differences are based on manufacturer prices and sales as shown on our website at any given time.
Both of these harnesses are good products and install behind each tail light into factory wiring. Both have a powered converter that will draw power from your battery to protect your factory system from overload. I've attached a video to assist and also an article on running that power wire.
