Can I tow my two-wheel drive 2016 GMC Canyon behind a Class A?

The owner's manual of your 2016 GMC Canyon specifies that the two-wheel drive version of this vehicle cannot be flat-towed, and the only way to tow it at all would be to use a tow dolly and have it mounted by the rear wheels. However, the tow dolly's we carry state not to tow vehicles by their rear wheels.
There is a possible solution for you though, requiring either the installation of a lube pump kit if your Canyon has an automatic transmission, or a drive shaft disconnect if it is a manual transmission. Once that step is taken care of, you should be able to flat-tow your vehicle, but keep in mind this is not recommended by GM.
If you choose to flat tow, then to start you will need a base plate kit, and the Roadmaster EZ4, # RM-523182-4, is a confirmed fit for your vehicle. A tow bar is another necessity, and I recommend the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, # RM-522, which mounts into two-inch hitches. This bar has long arms, putting distance between your RV and Canyon, extending your turn radius. It also features telescopic arms so that your vehicle needn't be perfectly level to ensure a hook-up. I have included a link to an install video for you to see how the bar works.
Safety cables are another part that you will need, and I recommend going with the Roadmaster 64-Inch Single Hook, Straight Safety Cables, # RM-645. Wiring is a necessity to ensure your 2016 Canyon's brake lights and turn signals work properly. I recommend the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit, # RM-154, which prevents feedback that may damage your Canyon's electrical components. Additionally, you will need an adapter such as the Pollak 7 Pole to 4 Way, # PK12716, to convert the 7-way connector of your motorhome to the 4-way connector of your Canyon.
A supplemental braking system is required by law in much of the U.S. and Canada, and the Roadmaster InvisiBrake System, # RM-8700, needs only to be installed once and will work each time you tow your Canyon thereafter. I also recommend using the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit, # RM-751472, to ensure your braking system is always working as intended. Finally, your battery must be disconnected in order to tow your Canyon, so I recommend the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect, # RM-766. This makes it very easy to disconnect and reconnect your battery by simply flipping a switch.
I have included a link to a help article for you which details the equipment you will need to tow your vehicle.
