I recently purchased the Kwikee Gear/linkage A/ Can you tell me what the 2 washers that came with it are for?

My contact at Lippert technical confirmed that two washers, not four, are supplied with the Kwikee Step Gear/Linkage with A, part # LC379160. Typically only two of the four mounting holes for this part will require the shim washers.
