How to Install the Tekonsha T-One Trailer Harness on a 2016 Ford Explorer

Question:
trying to install Tekonsha custom fit wiring harness on 2016 ford explorer. there are 2 junction boxes on passenger rear, behind tire. which one to use? this vehicle has the foot-activated tailgate opening option is that one of the boxes? one box black, other white. please advise

According to the installation instructions for the T-One Wiring Harness, # 118540, the tow-plug for the 2016 Ford Explorer is located at the rear passenger's side. Refer to the attached photo.
The trailer wiring harness will connect to this OEM plug at your Explorer.
