Question:
I have a 2015 RPod 178 trailer with a Lippert 3500 lb axle. I need to replace a brake drum and brake shoes on it. Is the AKHD-545-35-K or AKHD-545-35-EZ-K drum the correct replacement for it? And also are the BP04-095 brake shoes the correct replacements to go with those part number drums above? I know the current drum is a 10inch model with a 5 4 1/2 bolt pattern with a G2140603 number stamped on it. Also what is the advantage to go with your Titan brand drum versus the part numbers above?

For the brakes on your 2015 RPod 178, I recommend the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 10" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 3,500 lbs # AKEBRK-35-SA. These brake assemblies are self-adjusting, so after the initial adjustment at installation, they will take care of it from there. The assemblies are labeled for left hand and right hand side so you can make sure they are installed correctly. The left hand side is the driver's side. If you are looking to just replace the brake shoes, you can use # BP04-095 or # AKBRKR-S-10. For the price point, I think it is worth getting all new parts for the assembly.
For your hub and drum assemblies, I recommend the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 3,500-lb E-Z Lube Axles - 10" Diameter - 5 on 4-1/2 # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K if you have the E-Z lube spindles with the grease zerk. If you don't then I recommend the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 3,500-lb Axles - 10" Diameter - 5 on 4-1/2 # AKHD-545-35-K with the standard grease cap.
The Titan 5 on 4-1/2 Complete Hub-and-Drum Assembly - Electric or Hydraulic Brakes - 10" T1544600042 is a good product, but you are basically just paying a little more for the name in my opinion.
