Recommended Kuat Sherpa Hitch Bike Rack for Class II Hitch on 2013 Ford C-Max

Hello, Will both the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 and Curt hitch 1-1/4inch fit a 2013 Ford C-Max? Thank you.

The Curt 1-1/4-inch, Class II Trailer Hitch part # C12092 with the 1-1/4-inch Class II Trailer Hitch is a confirmed fit on your 2013 Ford C-Max, as is the higher-priced 2-inch hitch from EcoHitch, part # 306-X7200.

These are both great hitches, the Curt hitch has a warranty requirement of using a support strap # 18050 when using a bike rack. If you don't care to bother with this, then the EcoHitch Hidden would be a better choice. I linked an install video for the Curt hitch.

The Kuat Sherpa bike rack # SH22B only fits a 2-inch hitch, so you would need to go with the EcoHitch for this rack. You will have a much wider range of choices for accessories on the EcoHitch because it has the 2" opening.

If you go with the Curt # C12092, then you still have a Kuat Sherpa rack option for your C-Max, for that I suggest model # SH12G (in grey) or # SH12P (pearl) or # SH12B (black). These are specifically designed for the Curt hitch class. These racks will all fit well on your C-Max.
