This 2 inch receiver has a tongue weight capacity of 400 pounds and gross towing capacity of 4,000 pounds, although you will also want to check the vehicle's capacities as listed in the owner's manual. If you plan on doing any towing, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56355. This will be used to quickly install a 4-way trailer connector in your vehicle to power the trailer's signal lights. The T-Connector will plug directly into existing wiring.

To tow a trailer, you will also need a ball mount. I recommend the Curt Ball Mount for 2 Inch Hitches # C45030. This particular ball mount provides either a 1 inch rise or a 2-1/4 inch drop.
