My items shipped almost immediately. Unfortunately, the hitch was wrapped in plastic and nothing more. The exposed receiver has 2 silver marks that will be sure to be attention getters. The parts bag, that was taped to the receiver, has a hole larger than the size of the nuts. I sure hope none fell out! I'll find out this weekend. Pretty cheezy packaging!

I called customer service with what I thought was an issue with the hitch. Turns out the [online] video wasn't as good as the written instructions. Customer service was very helpful and was standing by to help solve the problem but I found my mistake. Good product, price, and delivery too!
Everything you need to get going, Installation is easy although it took me longer because I was on my own and on my back. But all the instructions are spot on.

Hitch was delivered fast and with all the needed hardware. I found the install was quick and easy. The directions were easy to follow and correct. Also, got a wire harness and it was just the same as the hitch... Perfect. Love etrailer!!!!
Be warned! Not an easy install by yourself unto a 2015 Volvo XC60.
Hitch arrived via UPS with ends poking out the box.
First of all, heat shielding has to be trimmed where the hitch mounts to the frame. It’s very difficult to mark the area to be cut accurately.
Secondly, it’s easy to mix up the bolt and spacer combination as you fish them through the access holes. I messed up the long bolt and short bolt locations and had to redo them.
Thirdly, who comes up with a 11/16” bolt to use as hardware? One of these nuts were in a location where a deep well socket was too long, standard socket was too shallow as the thread protrusion was too much and no space to get a wrench in there to do anything. Ended up using a stubby ratchet and not fully connecting the socket to tighten the best I could. Definitely not enough torque on it at this moment and will have to go back and figure out something.
If I had a redo, I should have purchased the factory hitch.
I've put an eTrailer hitch on my last three vehicles, saving a ton of money and I couldn't be happier with the product.
Glad i bought the hitch. Everything fits, is strong and solid, easy to install without doing anything to the car itself. I got Volvo electronics instead of 3rd party wiring. Only negative was having to get Volvo dealer to 'patch' for the added wiring. Otherwise, i now have use of a light trailer without problems and at a reasonable cost. i recommend this product.
