For your 2006 Toyota Tundra, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13180. This is a square tube design with a black powder coat finish over a protective base coat for superior rust resistance. This is a no drill installation.
For your wiring, I recommend the 4 Pole Harness and Hardwire Kit - Includes Tester # C59496. This will give you a 4 way flat connection. Then you will need to get the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brakes # ETBC7. This will give you all the wiring, connections, and circuit breakers you need to install a brake controller so you can tow a trailer with brakes.
For a price point brake controller, the Tekonsha Voyager # 39510 along with # 20127 harness will be a good fit. It will allow your trailer brakes to function with the same intensity and at the same time as you hit the brake pedal in your Tundra. It has a manual override that will allow you to apply the trailer brakes manually without hitting the brakes in your truck or with greater intesity.
For a ball mount, I recommend the Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount # C45900. This will give you adjustability to tow level as well as the 2 ball options. For a hitch pin, I recommend getting the locking pin # C23519 to secure your investment.
