Tow Dolly And Brake Controller For Flat-Towing 2014 Ford Focus SE

Question:

Will I create or have any problem using the RM-2050-1 tow dolly for towing this vehicle. Also, do you sell the brake controller? Will not be flat towing.

Using the Roadmaster Tow Dolly, part # RM-2050-1 for your 2014 Focus will work great. The dolly has electric brakes and has tail lights so the stress will not be on your car when towing.

I recommend the Prodigy P3 Brake Controller, part # 90195. This is a proportional brake controller which means it will apply the brakes on the dolly with the same intensity as the brakes on the towing vehicle. This is one of our most popular because it is easy to install and operate.

I checked out the owner's manual for your Focus and you can find the information you need to follow on pages 201 through 203. Depending on what kind of transmission and also if the vehicle is a push button start there are specific instructions for your Focus when you tow it.
