Question:
Hello, I am inquiring about which light kit you recommend for a 2017 Ford Edge Sport with a CURT Class 3 Trailer Hitch #13234. What are the pros and cons of the CURT and TEKONSHA kits you offer when compared to each other? Id prefer the kit that requires the least amount of modification to the vehicle drilling, holes cut into grommets, splicing, etc.. Price isnt a big deal for me. Quality and ease of install are my requirements. Thanks!

The Tekonsha Wiring Harness # 118677 is a T-connector that plugs into the wiring of your 2017 Ford Edge Sport behind both tail lights. It's a direct plug and play so there's no splicing or wire cutting necessary and will be a lot easier than a hardwire option.
I've linked an install video on a 2015 Ford Edge which will be the same as on yours.
If you also need a ball mount the Curt # C45036 is a great option because it includes the hitch ball and pin and clip. It's a 2 inch hitch ball and provides 2 inches of drop in a Class III hitch receiver like the Curt # C13234 you have. If this doesn't fit your setup I've linked our selection of Class III ball mounts you can take a look at to find the correct rise or drop for your setup. I've also attached an article to help you determine what you need.
