Can the air dam be replaced after curt receiver has been installed on 2012 f150

The air dam has to be permanently removed on a 2011 and newer For F-150 to install Curt front mount hitch receiver # C31068. Installation on your 2012 F-150 will be basically identical to the 2014 model in the video I have linked showing an example installation.

To install the Curt Hitch part #C31068 on your 2014 Ford F-150 with Ecoboost you will need to remove the air dam and then trim a small section of the lower fascia. See photo.
