Why Would Thule Atlantis Cargo Box Partially Open While Travelling on Highway

Question:
Whenever I stop after being on the highway I need to manually close the lid and bottom piece together. Do you know what is causing this or more importantly what I can do to fix it? the first picture I circled what the front of the box looks like when I stop after highway driving I imagine its even more open at speed

Your pictures didn't make it through, but your box should NOT be opening while traveling down the highway. It sounds like you are having an issue with the lifter and would need to replace it with the part # TH14936 which is the correct part for your Atlantis cargo box.
