I need to know what is the length of the garnish...how to measure, and what piece telescopes. The skylight currently on the rig says Ventline. I have a Forest River, 2005 Freightliner MB Cruiser Sprinter which needs a skylight re-do. I dont know if replacing parts would be easier....the dome, screen and garnish...or replacing the whole thing! Seems re-doing the parts might be simpler for a DIY project.

To pick out the correct garnish length you need to measure the thickness of the roof on your trailer. The part # VA0445-28 is a 4-1/8 inch tall garnish.
It looks like you have a part # V2092SP-28 installed and it would be easiest to just use this as a replacement for what you have since the cost is pretty decent. The included garnish with this kit measures 3 inches and could be trimmed shorter if needed.
